Since its establishment EUROTRANS has developed follow-up information on power transmissions research.

Either directly with papers given by European experts on specific technological themes during EUROTRANS technical meetings, or indirectly via EUROTRANS' sponsorship of congresses or conferences on the technological aspects of power transmissions.

In parallel with the promotion of technical knowledge, co-ordinated co-operative research between European companies has been developed to help small and medium companies benefit from EU financial assistance in their research programmes.
