Outstanding hospitality and excellent organisation at last week’s EUROTRANS Board Meeting at Newcastle University, UK, by invitation of the BRITISH GEAR ASSOCIATION.

A sincere thank you to the BGA and the entire team around Prof. Brian Shaw, including Kirsty McGregor and Lynne Gough, for hosting such a well-prepared and smoothly executed event.
The programme offered valuable insights, from the welcome and economic update to key discussions on ongoing activities, working group reports, and future priorities of EUROTRANS.
In challenging geopolitical times, one message clearly stood out: strong European cooperation is essential for our industry. We also received an update on the current status of CBAM from an industry perspective from Anna Feldman of the VDMA Brussels office.
We also focused on strengthening our joint visibility, shaping the future of our network, and attracting young professionals through hands-on training and targeted engagement on social media.
A truly inspiring meeting. Thank you again to everyone involved!
